Musicians from different most significant Gypsy Jazz Bands of North California as The Hot Club of San Francisco, Le Jazz Hot, Duo Gadjo… will joined the band “Rue Manouche” and will be on the stage of the Sebastiani Theatre, at 8.00pm, Saturday April 7th, 2018, for a magical moment of music, entertaining, and poetry.

Rue Manouche is a Gypsy Jazz & Musette combo founded in San Francisco in 2009 by the french blues singer, actor and producer Michel Michelis and the guitarist Vic Wong. Rue Manouche, play music in the style of Gypsy Jazz or Gypsy Swing made famous by Jean "Django" Reinhardt in the 1930s.

Pixar Studio with John Lasseter, Denise Ream and Brad Lewis, gave Michel the opportunity to do a new character voice on the movie Cars 2, for the french car, Tomber.
Michel is teaming up again to create a new blues band called “Saga & Jefferson Ray” and they recorded a great Cd “La Trace”.
Michel discovered in Paris a very old musical instrument from the XIX called an “Orgue de Barbarie”.
In the 70’s, Michel was on the stage of the Theater Workshop René Simon in Paris. In the years that followed, he continued to act in both stage and film productions in France and Italy.
